About the Author


The author Dr. Abraham Bohadana, MD,
with his son and illustrator, David
Abraham Bohadana, MD is a France-based pulmonary physician. He is author or co-author of over 70 scientific papers and five books, including two books on tobacco smoking. Originally from Brazil, he is an ex-smoker and has a strong interest in Jewish spirituality. He lives in Nancy, France with his wife and their three (adorable) sons.

He obtained his M.D. degree from the State University of Rio Medical School where he completed a rotating Internship and a Residency program in Internal Medicine and Pulmonology. Then, he pursued post-graduate studies in France, Israel and the US.

In 1992 he settled in Nancy, France where he became Research Director at the Institut National de la Santé et de la Recherche Médicale and Attending Physician at the Unité de Tabacologie of the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Nancy.
